It was an honour and a pleasure photograph Greg & Lorri!  The session took place in their home in Carlyle, not far from Cannington Manor where their wedding is going to be held in June.  It was great to chat with them about how they met and their ongoing love story.  One thing I love capturing is a couple’s ability to fall into each other…and just be.  I didn’t have to coach too much for this engagement sessions because they were simply happy being…together!

Happy New Year!  Here’s a look at my first session of 2012 with engaged couple Chad & Amanda.  We met in Oxbow for this early January session and I couldn’t have had more fun.  There’s something about pre-wedding love that makes me smile.  Here’s a peek at some of my favorites.  Congratulations  C+A on your engagement!

This little bundle arrived a week early, his due date was Christmas Day…he must have wanted to be an early present for new parents Melissa & Steve.  Hudson was an amazing 2-week-old baby throughout our session…His Mom made sure he was fed, content & sleepy…which turned out to make some handsome photos.  Thank you Melissa, Steve & Hudson for inviting me into your home for your newborn session.

One of my favourite parts of photography is meeting new people like this family of three in mid-December.  Thank you Shane, Ashley & baby Knox for taking the time to travel to Oxbow to create these memories, enjoy this look at what we captured.

Amariah was a natural in front of the camera and made my job of capturing her so easy!  Thank you to Mom Marissa for choosing me to capture this little ballerina, what a great keepsake for this growing young lady!

Coty & Paige (with the help of their Grandma Penny) wanted to surprise their parents with these photos for Christmas.  These two were looking so grown up!  I’m so excited to share how these images turned out…can’t wait to hear how the surprise goes with their Mom & Dad!

Meet the Snell’s, a terrific family!  We are lucky enough to have Ange care for our children in her day home daily…I could not do what I do with out her; I am very thankful for everything she does for us!  We had an awesome session, I think it helped that the kids knew me and made for alot of fun shots.  We did a few in-studio and on-location…and while the kids were hangin’ in the van, we snapped a few of just Mom & Dad…turned out great!  Thanks Neil, Ange, Carson, Caden & Callie for all your smiles!

Even though it’s cold outside, this family brought their warmth in to the studio and had a great session.  Rob, Melissa, Alexis & Connor were great…once the kids warmed up, they were so full of smiles.  Thanks guys for having me capture you during this family session!
